Inside the Squishmallows Fragrances Launch Event at Sephora Canada
I have owned a Squishmallows Squish Me Pink keychain since long before Squishmallows became a fragrance brand, so when an invite from CMMPR for the Squishmallows Fragrances launch event at Sephora Canada landed in my inbox, of course I HAD to go. The event took place at Homecourt in Ossington.
What the Squishmallows Fragrances Launch Event Was Actually Like
Thr evening was built around Patty the Cow's family booth at the springtime farmer's market, which is also the exact inspiration behind the fragrance Pink Possibilities.
There were candy-striped market stalls stamped with the Sephora and Squishmallows Fragrances logos, with a floral installation cascading from its roofline down to the floor in blush pink, lavender and powder blue.
Wooden crates were stacked like real farm stand produce, a white picket fence and a vintage bicycle rounded out the scene, and two Squishmallows mascots danced through the crowd.

The individual stations were just as detailed as the backdrop!
Freshly Picked Sweet Treats: rows of Squishmallows Fragrances branded strawberry gummy candies, bagged up and displayed in farm stand style crates for guests to take home, with fresh pink florals tucked in between.
Joy-to-Go Creation Station: guests got to pick tiny embroidered patches and stickers, to customize our own pink pouch and take a little joy with us wherever you go.
The engraving bar: where guests could get their name engraved onto a bottle of the Pink Possibilities fragrance on the spot!
The dessert table: small creme brulee cups topped with fresh strawberry, a wreath shaped platter of cookies, and brownie bites, all served on napkins stamped with the Sephora and Squishmallows Fragrances logo.

Squishmallows Fragrances launched in the United States with three scents and has since grown to five, with each one built around the story of a specific Squishmallows character. Guests at the Sephora Canada launch got to bring home a few of the new bottles, so here is a closer look at the full lineup for anyone deciding where to start.
Pink Possibilities (my favorite) A fruity floral green inspired by Patty the Cow. Top notes of strawberry, dragonfruit and kiwi lead into violet leaf, plum blossom and waterlily, before drying down into the brand's signature Squishmallows Accord with sheer amber and pink sugar. Bright, sweet and genuinely easy to wear during the day.
Whisked Away A vanilla amber gourmand inspired by Cam the Cat, the very first Squishmallow ever made. It opens with cinnamon, foamy milk and caramel drizzle, moves into tiger orchid and white peach, and settles into sandalwood and vanilla latte. This is the cozy, stay-in-and-read-a-book scent of the collection.
Moonlit Mist A floral fruity gourmand inspired by Zumirez the Bat, and a Sephora.ca exclusive. Green apple, lychee blossom and sweet cherry open the scent, with pink peony and lily of the valley in the heart, finishing on cedarwood and soft musk.
Wonder Whirl The newest scent in the collection, a fruity gourmand inspired by Joelle the Bigfoot, built around blue raspberry and sakura blossom in a bottle almost as playful as the fragrance itself.
Whisked Away Tropical Sunset A limited-edition tropical twist on the original Whisked Away, leaning into passionfruit, beach jasmine and warm driftwood
Why a Plush Toy Brand Making Perfume Actually Works
Squishmallows launched in 2017 and has since sold more than 600 million plush toys worldwide, so the brand already understands comfort better than almost anyone in retail. Blue Meadow Brands built the fragrance line on that same idea. Reportedly developing the scents with mood-boosting fragrance technology designed to spark a feeling of happiness rather than just smell nice.
Standing in a room full of florals, a personalization station and mascots mid dance break, that mission checked out completely 🌸🍓✨️
